The Four Seasons (Italian: Le quattro stagioni) is probably Antonio Vivaldi's best-known work. It consists of four violin concertos with extra-musical programs, each concerto portraying a season. An edition in duo form is now available: Christoph Dingler has arranged the entire work for two violins. After years of playing together with his sister as The Twiolins, he was able to incorporate his duo experience into the arrangement of Vivaldi's masterpiece. Whether on the big stage or at home: both violin parts reproduce the magnificent music almost completely and enable a performance without an orchestra.
