Peter's Theme from 'Peter and the Wolf'

Description "Peter's Theme from 'Peter and the Wolf'"

Prokofieff composed ‘Peter and the Wolf’ in 1936 for the Central Children’s Theatre in Moscow, and it has since become a hugely popular work for narrator and orchestra. Each character is represented by a different instrument, and Peter is depicted by the orchestra’s string section. The tune is lively with plenty of attack.
