Following the enormous success of Riverdance, the seven minute interval act produced for the Eurovision Song Contest 1994, work began on a full length stage show of the same name. Riverdance - The Show had its first performance at the Point Theatre in Dublin in February 1995. Since then it has been seen live by more than 22 million people and by a television audience of nearly 2 billion. In 1997 Bill was honoured with the Grammy Award for 'Best Musical Show Album' for the Riverdance CD.
